Senior UX Designer with 7+ years of Enterprise experience.
I've led UX research and design for large-scale projects, streamlining workflows and improving user satisfaction through creative problem-solving and collaboration. Passionate about blending art and design, I craft experiences that balance creativity, strategy, and usability.
Growing up, I was immersed in creative expression, watching my father bring watercolor landscapes to life in his studio. This sparked a lifelong artistic journey, refining my skills through drawing, painting, and eventually selling portraits, landscapes and improvisational jazz-inspired works. Art taught me patience, presence, and perspective—foundations that later shaped my UX approach.
That philosophy was reinforced during my time with AmeriCorps NCCC-FEMA Corps, where I was part of a 11-person team deployed for Superstorm Sandy recovery. Together, we worked to provide survivors with financial assistance and critical resources. I helped build a local aid hub and coordinated Individual Assistance (IA) reports. As part of FEMA Corps' inaugural class, my team’s feedback helped shape the future of the program. These experiences deepened my commitment to service and human-centered problem-solving.
My journey into UX began during college when I worked part-time at John Deere while pursuing dual degrees in Computer Science and Painting. Seeing a senior designer blend creativity and technology inspired me to explore UX as a career. Under his mentorship, I learned design principles, user research, and prototyping—eventually shaping dealer-facing tools still in use today.
Since then, I’ve led UX efforts on complex, scalable design systems and feature-rich applications. Whether developing responsive workflows or facilitating cross-functional ideation, I strive to balance creativity and strategy to deliver impactful user experiences. Inspired by personal reflection and years of service, I live by the belief that "goodness exists and can be spread." My goal is to create experiences that uplift and serve others through thoughtful design.
Outside of work, I recharge through art, figure drawing, and nature walks. I'm also a paddleboarder and board gamer, always seeking new challenges to grow personally and professionally.
I like art, service, sunsets, travel, music and my cat Leo:
